Senior Outside Sales Representative
- Municipal & Industrial Accounts –
Location: Cranston, RI
Pay: $80,000 - $85,000 + Commission (OTE: $120,000 - $130,000)
Expected Hours: Min. 40 hr/wk

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the mechanical, pump, or electric motor industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, and electric motors, with the ability to discuss specifications and applications with engineers and technical teams.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites within the assigned territory.
- Develop relationships with municipal and industrial clients, including engineering teams, procurement personnel, and key decision-makers.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions leveraging our mechanical, pump, and electric motor product lines.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver accurate proposals, technical specifications, and project support.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth objectives.
- Prior experience working with municipal water and wastewater projects, industrial facilities, or energy sector clients.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to mechanical and pump systems.
